Significant People Lesson

History is an important part of a people. When we make a conscious effort to teach it in our schools, it helps pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Nigeria’s past and that of the wider world.

Learning about significant people in our history enriches the curriculum and provides our young learners with the information they need to link to past events and the individuals who are responsible for these events. 

Queen Amina is one of the strong African heroines who made a great impact in the historical past of Zazzau now modern day Zaria. 

This lesson aims at providing students with information of individuals who have made significant impact in the past.
